I took a 5-hour drive all the way to Ozark, Arkansas to get into the path of totality (and drove all the way back to LFK afterwards.) It was a lot of driving for one day, but totally worth it! Thankfully, the weather cooperated, too, and left us with mostly clear skies and very little cloud cover.
